This was my first visit to First Wave. I found the facility to be clean, up-to-date equipped, with excellent A/C. Staff was friendly and with good humor. Shoutout to Sharon. Exam, X-rays and cleaning were very thorough. Dr. Nina was friendly, caring and very helpful in guiding me to my next steps in my dental journey. After a first visit, I give two thumbs up.

When your brother is your dentist for 40 years, you learn what makes a dentist feel like family. Dr. Nina & her staff (props, Joanna!) tick all the ☑️: smart, savvy, compassionate, quick-witted, and thoughtful.👩🏻‍⚕️ I have troublesome teeth 🦷🫣 so wherever I go, I bring just enough knowledge to be dangerous😬Everyone at First Wave has handled me with kindness & care … they laugh at my jokes, too!🤭 If you’ve been stalling on that cleaning for what X-rays say, book your appt, now. You’ll find yourself at home.😌 Then go floss, water pick, and brush your teeth🤨🪥

I have been going to First Wave Dental for years. The original dentist, Dr. Brown, was amazing! He was thorough and careful, and very professional. His office was always clean and sanitized. His love of surfing was evident!♥️♥️♥️ He found a wonderful new dentist to replace him, Dr. Nina. He made the perfect choice for his successor! She is like him, thorough, gentle, and knowledgeable. The entire staff is professional and have gentle hands!!! I HIGHLY recommend, I travel from Chula Vista because they are that good!!!!♥️👏🙏

I had an excellent experience with both Dr. Nina Bubalo and the hygienist. They both have such a gentle touch that I honestly couldn't feel any pressure or discomfort during my appointment. They took the time to explain everything, made sure I was comfortable, and were incredibly kind and professional throughout the visit. The entire experience was friendly, positive, and stress-free. If you're looking for a dental team that truly cares about your comfort, I highly recommend them!

Dr Nina and her team are phenomenal. I came in last year, long overdue for a professional cleaning/xrays/etc. I was incredibly nervous about coming in. But everyone in the office was so professional and kind, the visit was so much easier than I expected. I’ve been able to schedule with the same hygienist for each visit which has been so nice. I needed a crown, and they were able to make it right there in office, so everything could be done in one day. I’m so glad that I am able to have this whole team for my dental care, they’re so gentle it really takes away most of my anxiety about going to the dentist. It’s not possible to recommend them any higher.
